Lights, Camera, Action!...but wait. What do these colors mean?
You're setting up your feeder and want to get your pup on a feeding schedule ASAP. We know, we want you to do that too! But you're seeing a red light, then a yellow light, maybe a blinking light. So you're probably wondering, "when do I know my feeder is ready to go?" And we're here to help you understand it a little bit more!
When you initially set up your feeder, it will go through a series of lights:
Red Light @ Start Up - Your Serve Smart Feeder is powering on and establishing network connections
Blinking Yellow Light - Once your Feeder has established connections, it will communicate with your Wagz App and load this information.
Green Light - Your device is connected, but not yet active
No Light - You are ready to start feeding!
Other light colors to be aware of:
Blinking Dim Blue Light - Your scheduled feeding is about to begin! Prepare yourself for a photo, or video if you have our Plus Plan, of your pup eating!
Solid Yellow Light - Oh no! You only have 1lb of food left in the hopper. Make sure to add more, or go to your Amazon Dash Replenishment and make sure your order is on it's way!
Solid Blue Light - Your Feeder is downloading an update, please be patient, it will be back online shortly
Blinking Blue Light - Your feeders update has completed, happy feeding!
Solid Teal Light - This means your Feeder is having trouble connecting to your Bluetooth. Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Feeder. If this does not work, try power-cycling your feeder (turning it off and back on)
Blinking Red - Error! We're not sure why you're Feeder is having an error. Start with power-cycling and if this doesn't fix the problem, please call our Team of Dog Nerds at 1-833-GET-WAGZ
